Solution Provided
We provided Nilkanth Engg Works with a comprehensive solution that included:
- Machine integration to read PLC Data and store it in the database when data bit value is 1.
- Reports on production, consumption, and trip data.
- A dashboard featuring yearly total production data in charts, current month production data, and total monthly production data.
Strategy to Solve Problems:
Requirement Gathering:
A dedicated team from Nilkanth Engg Works and Tripearltech collaborated to identify specific business requirements, which were then developed into the Windows Forms App.
Development:
- Developed a scheduler to read PLC data.
- Developed a Windows Forms app to access and view the dashboard, PLC data, production, consumption, and trip data.
- Enabled data export in PDF or Excel format and provided printing capabilities.
Data Migration:
Configured the scheduler to read PLC data as per the client’s requirements and set up the Windows Forms app for PLC data management.
Testing and Change Management:
User acceptance testing and client-side visits were conducted to identify and resolve any issues before the system went live. Change management strategies were implemented to address any required changes.
